Palate evolved to reveal Bloody Mary-like spices, black pepper, and ground cherry.
Not as hot as region or varietal makeup would suggest - a very curious wine.
It kept you coming back for more - would have been the wine of the night were it not tasted with an 03 Grange, but it won the value competition hands down. Will seek again for a more interesting drink - great bang for the buck
