The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. Nose is dark cherry and blackberry with peppery earthy notes. There is no sediment in the bottle and the body is light. Although the wine was stored in a dark room at cool, constant temperatures, this wine exhibited a slight fizz or effervescence in the mouth. The taste was flat and distinctly off for a pinot noir.
