The 2010 Canon La Gaffeliere has aromas of blackberries, blueberries, cedar and plums, and on the palate we find a dense, full-bodied wine whose tannins are very stern and jutting out right now.
While there is plenty of depth and intensity to suggest that the wine will come around in several years time, this is a great wine for laying down for your children - it will easily age for decades.
